Chipp is well-known in the emerging field of interactive media, including extensive publication of his work in print form as well as on CD-ROM. He has lectured on multimedia both domestically and in the Far East. Before starting Human Code in early 1993, he co-founded Design Edge in 1986, an internationally recognized Industrial Design firm that later sprouted DEMI, an R&D division focused on media integration issues and technologies. Previously, Chipp held industrial design positions at IBM, Texas Instruments, and Compaq Computer. He earned a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from North Carolina State University.
Liz Walters
Chief Operating Officer
Liz Walters is responsible for business planning, as well as day-to-day operations at Human Code. Previously, she was Vice President of Design at Design Edge, where she was responsible for project management and industrial design. Her background is in product, graphic and software interface design. She has participated as a juror in national design competitions and has had her work exhibited in museums around the country. Ms. Walters holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from North Carolina State University.
Lloyd Walker
Vice President of Development
Lloyd Walker is responsible for the product development division of Human Code. He is well known for his contributions to NASA’s advanced programs ranging from planetary colonization to space station redesign. Prior to working with Human Code and NASA, he was a designer for Honda Research and Development in Los Angeles, and an instructor at the Art Center College of Design. Mr. Walker has a Masters of Science in Studies of the Future from the University of Houston and a B.S. in Transportation Design from the Art Center College of Design.
